QC Controller


pAs a QC Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the required quality standards. You play a key role on the shop floor, where you perform inspections, audits and quality checks throughout the production process. /ppYou act as a gatekeeper for quality: when you identify non-conforming products, you take immediate action to prevent these products from moving to the next production step or reaching the customer. You will work in an automotive manufacturing environment where accuracy, quality and process discipline are essential. /pp bYour role /b /p pAs a QC Controller, you are responsible for monitoring and maintaining product and process quality from incoming goods through to the final product. You identify deviations, coordinate containment actions and ensure that quality issues are properly documented and followed up. /ppYour responsibilities include: /pulliPerforming incoming goods inspections on materials, components and sub-assemblies based on drawings, specifications, control plans and inspection instructions. /liliChecking documentation, identification, labeling and traceability. /liliPerforming in-process and final inspections on trailer modules, wiring harnesses and EV charging cables. /liliConducting visual, dimensional and functional inspections where applicable. /liliEnsuring compliance with sampling plans and reaction plans and escalating recurring or significant defects. /liliSupporting first-off and last-off checks where required. /liliPlanning and performing product audits in line with internal procedures and IATF expectations. /liliExecuting and coordinating Layered Process Audits (LPA) on the shop floor. /liliIdentifying, segregating, labeling and blocking non-conforming products. /liliManaging containment actions, including quarantine, sorting, re-inspection, rework verification and controlled release. /liliCreating and managing Nonconformity Reports (NCRs) and providing clear input for root-cause analyses and 8D activities. /liliUsing measuring and test equipment correctly and ensuring equipment is within calibration. /liliSupporting compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. /liliProviding quality data and insights on scrap, rework and recurring issues to support continuous improvement. /li /ulpYou will work closely with Production, Logistics, Engineering and Supplier Quality to ensure quality issues are addressed effectively and in a timely manner. /pp bYour profile /b /ppWe are looking for an experienced quality professional who is precise, structured and confident enough to take action when quality standards are not met. /ppYou have: /pulliAt least 3 years of experience in a similar QC Controller, Quality Inspector or Quality Control position within a manufacturing environment. /liliExperience with incoming goods inspection. /liliProven experience identifying, blocking and controlling non-conforming products. /liliExperience working with QMS and/or ERP systems for quality registrations. /liliGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. /liliProfessional working proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written. /liliStrong attention to detail and a clear “right-first-time” mindset. /liliThe confidence to stop a process or block products when required from a quality perspective. /liliA pragmatic and structured approach to problem-solving. /liliStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments. /liliA high level of integrity and accuracy when handling quality data and documentation. /li /ulpExperience within the automotive industry is preferred. /pp bWhat we offer /b /pulliA responsible position within the Quality Control department of an automotive organization. /liliA hands-on role with significant presence on the shop floor. /liliThe opportunity to have a direct impact on product and process quality. /liliWorking in an environment where quality and process discipline are key priorities. /liliClose collaboration with Production, Logistics, Engineering and Supplier Quality. /liliThe opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. /liliWorking with internationally recognized quality standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. /li /ulpbAbout ECS Electronics /b /ppYou will join ECS Electronics, a company operating in the automotive industry.
